M Trivia 1.2: Answer
August 25, 2009 – 8:57 amOne feature that will frequently be included in the new MM Express email update is M Trivia, a missions-related trivia question that will sharpen missions knowledge and give the opportunity to win free books.
From the correct answers that are emailed to tim@missionsmandate.org by Tuesday morning at 8 a.m., a winner will be chosen at random. The winner will receive a free missions book. The correct answer to the M Trivia challenge will be posted the same Tuesday morning.
The M Trivia challenge for MM Express 1.2: “How many years passed in Adoniram Judson’s ministry before he witnessed the first national Burman convert to Christ?”
The correct answer: 6 years. According to the biography website Wholesome Words,
it was to be six, long, soul-crushing, heart-breaking years before the date of the first decision for Christ. Then, on June 27, 1819, Judson baptized the first Burman believer, Moung Nau.
Judson jotted in his journal: “Oh, may it prove to be the beginning of a series of baptisms in the Burman empire which shall continue in uninterrupted success to the end of the age.” Converts were added slowly - a second, then three, then six, and on to eighteen.
Out of the correct answers submitted, one winner was selected. They have been notified via email and will receive a free copy of For the Sake of His Name in the mail.

Would it be possible to subscribe to the MM Express via RSS feed instead of e-mail?

You can subscribe to the Missions Mandate blog RSS feed by selecting the “subscribe” button at the top of the right sidebar.
At this time, we do not plan on making the MM Express email available via RSS, as it is similar to the existing blog RSS feed, with a few additions.
Thank you for your question. Feel free to email us for more info.
