MM Express
August 24, 2009 – 8:58 amThursday, August 20, Missions Mandate launched the MM Express, a weekly email update providing summaries of MM articles and editorial thoughts from the director. The title “MM Express” conveys the idea of quickly dispersed information, newspaper-like journalism, and a speedy train that carry people away to distant lands. (And it is a good excuse for me to live out one of my childhood dreams of doing something with trains!)
The MM Express is built off of the foundation of the SGI Weekly, an email update sent out by the previous director of Student Global Impact. Now that SGI is the college student/young adult department under Missions Mandate, we decided to sync a regular email update with the MM blog, and MM Express is the result. The MM Express will be sent out every Monday morning and will include articles posted the previous week on the MM blog.
If you don’t check blogs frequently but would like to stay updated on what’s happening at MM, sign up for the MM Express and we will deliver the articles straight to your email inbox. If you have friends or family that would benefit from the MM material, send them the link to the sign-up page and encourage them to sign up as well. Sign-up forms are also embedded on the right sidebar of every MM page.
