Missions Wiki

It seems like everybody uses wikipedia these days. Who hasn’t taken a quick glance at a wiki article for a quick, brief description? Though it’s not the best hub for academic research, wikipedia (and a multitude of wiki spin-offs) can be a great resource.

Now there is a missions wiki: Missiopedia. The goal with this missions wiki is to combineĀ  “missions atlases, handbooks, dictionaries and encyclopedias.” It seems doubtful that it will replace these printed references, but for quick, economic, global access to missions history, missions in the Bible, place index - old names to cities and regions, and many other categories it could prove to be a hepful tool. It is still in the early development stage, so if you have helpful missions info to contribute, create a wiki username and add to the missions pool.
