Local Church Ministry to Kurdistan

Temple Baptist Church in Knoxville, TN has started a ministry called “The Kurdish Commission.” An intro video on the home page provides a detailed explanation of their focus.

The goal is to aid church planting and training of national leadership within the Kurdish region of northern Iraq. They also intend to translate the Bible into the local Behdini language. A group of men who lead this “Kurdish Commission” traveled to the region this past December and blogged about the trip.
