Travelling Tip…A Money Belt

This summer I was in North Africa for the first time. I was reminded about safety as I walked across a border and was stopped by border officials. We were surrounded by scores of individuals pushing their way through to the front. A line? Forget it. This was every man for himself. I noticed that one of my friends was waving  his US passport around. I said, “Hey, you should put that away until we are up front.” Taking a short term trip sometime soon? Concerned about safety? Consider using a money belt. Simple device. Yet, it works. Just google “money belts” and you will come up with dozens of options.
